Rangers Play World Class as RSV Crash Down

Last night saw the Loren Rangers host a, which what can be only described as world class, match against Ragnar’s Swift Velocity and beat them 5-1. This result puts an even stronger foothold for the Rangers at the top and continues their unbeaten record to five games. RSV played well too but they couldn’t keep up with the speed and tactical play that the Rangers did. The first touchdown came as a brilliant pass to Ellison Crownstar saw his forth league touchdown this season.

Play continued as Loren Rangers cut down a very important pass by the RSV and which saw Ellsion Crownstar score his second of the night. RSV looked tired at this point but the touchdowns didn’t stop coming from the Rangers. Caneran Everlong got onto the score sheet as well by a storming run down the right skipping through the Swift’s defence. A forth touchdown came just before half time by a crushing push with Nenevik Eagle and Capella Goldfalcon. The push was too strong to be stopped and Nenevik went to score his second in the league. Half time score 4-0 and what seemed to be a one sided game.

The Second half kicked off and saw the RSV kick up a gear and pushed very heavy into the Rangers half. RSV mixed it up causing many tackles and injurys to the Rangers getting them off track. RSV pushed hard which led to a comeback touchdown scored by an unmarked Lars Ulrichson Scoring an amazing touchdown. RSV got really fired up now as the half had only just started. Stanrick Snider captain of the RSV pushed his men to their limits to try and score more. But only in vein as pickup by Erison Youngwhite and an amazing pass to Ellison Crownstar saw his hat trick. But the RSV weren’t going down without a fight using every trick in the book. Late in the second half a mysterious man came up to the touchline and cast a fireball of flames straight to Rangers number 4, Aragash Breeze. But luckily to all those Aragash fans he was OK thanks to Easy Elronds Magic Stuff. Even a bribe on the ref as RSV fouled a Rangers player a score tipped us off. Final whistle went and a delighted Rangers bundled their coach.

After the match we caught up with Stanrick Snider Capitan of the RSV to hear his reaction on the pitch

We have been distracted lately, some coach has hired an orge to eat our horses which has explained our absence in the league and put us out of our game, up until now we had a nice record going. It is time now to get serious and get our heads back in the game. Next time we meet, it will be more than their undefeated streak shattered

We also spoke to Jordan Hawk of the Loren Rangers:

Another outstanding game. I cannot thank the players for all their hard work and making this the best season I have ever coached. The RSV played well but our speed shined today and they couldn’t keep up with us. Next few games will be important to keep this run going

The Highland Nutcrushers 0 – 5 Middenhein Manhunters

The Middenhien Manhunters hit the big points today after trashing the Highland Nutcrushers 5-0. Von Lipwig was the man of the match scoring an amazing four touchdowns! Also scoring was S. Vimes, captain of the Manhunters scoring a very nice touchdown. We caught up with both mangers to hear their reaction:

“Where do I begin? The team have always played well aganist the Nutcrushers. My man of the match has to be M. Von. Lipwig, I don’t know what it is about these orcs but he just seems too excell. I am glad we won as we needed the points and morale boost. Ironfounderson seems to be coming along but still has a long way to go yet”.

The HNC coach spoke to us also “Rubbish again, they always play the dirty on us. Could of done a hell of alot better damm team RAAAAGGGG!!!!!!!!! NO MORE COMMENTS”

All Square at Middenhein Bowl

Last night the Loren Rangers traveled to Middenhein, and to our disappointment it ended 1-1 after full time. It’s not a scoreline we like here at BBM but we can’t change that. A massive 25,000 fans turned up to watch to two titans go head to head, which is brilliant to see so many people coming to watch rather than sit down in their local inn and watch it on Sly Sports. Loren Rangers took the lead in the first half by a brilliant pass by Captian Eliengad Greenstone to Elison Crownstar who went on and scored the touchdown. The Manhunters looked close to scoring but the half time wistle denied them. Second half kicked off and it seemed Lord Havelock spoke the right words in the dugout, as the Manhunters played some quick and effective plays. This then lead up to them scoring the equalizer, an unmarked R. Drumknott caught a fantastic pass by Captian S. Vimms and scored the much needed touchdown. The game went on and play was up and down the field, but no one looked like they were going to score. It ended 1-1. Worse result in the league so far? Write in and let us know.

After the match we caught up with both managers to hear their reaction. Lord Havelock commented:

Overall not a bad game. I’m very happy with the draw as it has boosted the players morale. The 1st half was a bit dicey for both teams where as the second half was very tence for us as the Rangers came close to going one ahead again. But I told the team at halftime that if we can push for a touchdown, to just grab the ball and hold on to it till fulltime” We asked him about his new player who played but wasn’t named in the programme, “Haha I wanted to tell you guys first. His name is Carrot Ironfounderson, he didn’t have much to other in this game. But he’s only just started with us and he’s also young so he can only get better….or die!

We also spoke to Jordan Hawk of the Loren Rangers:

Points are points in this game and at least we didn’t go away empty handed. We should of won the game but alot of mistakes cost us the win. But it’s done now. We must now concentrate on our next game and keep our position at the top. I want to just say thank you to the brilliant away support we have been taking along with us, someone told me 16,000 of you guys came and took over the stadium. Thank you again and keep it up

Havelocks Mistery Man

Lord Havelock head coach of the Middenhein Manhunters, last night told us of a new hot young prosect for his team. The Hunters last night looseing to the Loren Rangers 4-0 showed they needed some fresh talent to get them out of thrid place and back on top. He didn’t say who he was but said he is a Blitzer. We hunted him down to try and get it out of him.

“No I am still keeping my mouth shut about this player, I don’t want the media sucking him up and making him loose his concentration for the upcoming match. Now I hope this matter is closed now”

From speaking with Lord Havelock it seems we will have to wait until next week to find out who this mistery man is.

Rangers Everlong Hat-Trick Star

Last night the Loren Rangers beat the Middenhein Manhunters 4-0, the highest scoreline in the leauge so far. Ellesser Everlong of the Loren Rangers scored a magnificent three touchdowns along with Elison Crownstar scoring his first touchdown in the leauge. This win puts the Loren Rangers Thirty points clear of Ragners Swift Veilocity and the Middenhein Manhunters and gives them a commanding postion. We caught up with both mangers to hear what they had to say about the match.

“We played like crap to be honest, the team is going on a very strict training regime over the next 2 weeks and hopefully we will bounce back” Middenhein’s coach also added, “On the plus side we have a very possitive signing in the pipeline for a player who has worked his way up through our reserves team and should be a great asset to us. I wont say who he is but he is a blitzer!”

We also caught up with Jordan Hawk to see his reaction from the game, “Exellent performance once again keeping a strong foothold at the top of the league. Ellesser Everlong played another outstanding game again but it was a team victory at the end of the day and the boys earned it.” He also added, “Next week will be a tough game against the RSV, but I’m sure Eliengad will whip the boys up into a frenzy ready to win”

Hunters Prepare for big Game

Lord Havelock was speaking to BBM today after hearing The Loren Rangers hit top of the league beating the Highland Nutcrushers 3-1.

We are a bit sad dropping to 3rd after a hell of a game last week putting up top” “Next game against the Loren Rangers is a must win game to put the pressure on them and I know my lads are up to the challenge

Manhunters will play the Loren Rangers next week and which may be a very important game for both teams.

Everlong Brothers Pull Right Stuff As Rangers Hit Back On Top

The Everlong brothers, Elesser and Caneran, pulled out some outstanding touchdowns tonight as the Rangers beat the Highland Nutcrushers 3-1. The stadium was packed out as 26,000 fans attending the game, being the highest gate recored in the history of the HDWSBBL. The victory meant that Loren Rangers were back up at the top of the league after being pushed back to third last week. Nutcrushers didn’t play too bad and they got there first ever touchdown in the league. We caught up with their manager to get his reaction.

“Good performance, much better than last time. But not good enough, if we keep playing like this there going to be eaten up by the trolls and I will buy new players who are much better than that useless bunch”. Just words there.

We also spoke to Jordan Hawk head coach of the Loren Rangers and heard what he had to say. “Bang on what I told them to do in the locker room, WIN! and thats what they did. We played outstanding plays and defended well against them” “Credit to the Everlong brothers who both played very well”

Loren Rangers Ready For Next Match

Jordan Hawk, head coach of the Loren Rangers, has been whipping up a storm with the players and the fans. With a game in hand and the chance of going top in the league it will be a very good game to watch. The Highland Nutcrushers although still bottom of the league will be looking to go all out seeking for their first win of the season.

Hero Von Lipwig as Manhunters Bounce Back

The Manhunters have hit back after losing to the Loren Rangers last week, beating the Highland Nutcrushers 4-0. The biggest score recored so far this season and possibly the worst the HNC has ever played. There was fumble after fumble as HNC fans left the ground after it was 3-0. The game kicked off in fine Blood Bowl weather as the HNC kicked off. Middenhein were quick to react and created as many chances as they could in what has to be the cleanest game ever with no casilites whatsoever. 20mins into the first half a fast pace move by the Manhunters lead to their first touchdown scored by the infamous M. Von. Lipwig. HNC looked like leveling it just before half time but a fumble off the ball lead to the hands of the Captain S.Vimes which lead to the second touchdown and leaving the score 2-0 at halftime. As the players came back to the field the HNC looked ready to tie the game. But a very bad foul by Bone Cracker saw him get sent back to the locker room for an early bath ( or dirty as the Orcs like to do). More misery came to the HNC as they came so close to scoring. But a fumble by the Capitan Borat Rateater 5 yards from the touchline ended their hopes of their first touchdown in the season. And to make it worse a terrific long bomb by C.Henry of the Manhunters to Von. Lipwig made it 3-0 to the Hunters. Even more fans left after a five in a row fumble spree by the HNC and an awful pass created the worlds first ever Orc pinball effect as the ball bounced off U. Humanhunter and W. Lurk. The manhunters at this time almost walking pace threw one last attack to show who was boss. Another perfect pass by C. Henry again to Von. Lipwig saw him score the forth touchdown and a hat-trick.

We caught up with the very disgruntled HNC coach after the game.

” RUBBISH! Borat Rateater was a joke, I have no idea why I made him captain but he no way shows it. A bunch of circus clowns, No more Comments” A very angry coach. On a lighter note we spoke to Lord Havelock “It was a good game. We fought hard and played hard. Not to say the HNC didn’t but they made a lot of mistakes which we took advantage of. How about their No.3 Hahahaha!”

Final score 4-0 and a lot of very happy Middenhein fans as they move to 2nd in the league and knocking the Loren Rangers to 3rd.

Delight for Loren Rangers

The Loren Rangers celebrated today after their first win since re-forming the club. They beat the Middenhein Manhunters 3-1 in a very tense end to end game.

Loren Rangers kicked off and soon scored a speedy touchdown by a superb pass by Caveran Everlong to Elsion Crownstar. But soon after the Manhunters started to hit back and sped through an undefended Rangers backline making the score 1-1. Just before the break the Rangers played a very clever movement down the flanks opening the Manhunters rear and the centre. The plan worked brilliantly and Canervan Everlong scored a sensaonable touchdown to end the first half 2-1. The players came back onto the pitch for the second half and it was going to be the hardest fought half the fans will have ever seen. A total of 7 casuaties, 4 being the rangers were inflicted and the Rangers at one point being reduced to five men on the field. But the determination of the two wardancers, Nevik Eagle and Capella Goldfalcon lead to the third touchdown which was too close to call. 3-1 the final score which placed the rangers 2nd in the league due to touchdown differance.

We spoke to Jordan Hawk head coach of the Rangers to hear his reaction.

It was a hard game to win, the Manhunters played very well but in this game its about speed and endurance and we proved we had that” “Belive me you will see more of the same from us
