BH: After a week break the teams were ready to go once again in the third round of the Challenge Cup. Tonight we had some exciting results and a lot of touchdowns.
Arcani\’s All Sparks 4 (1) – 1 (1) Suderholm Snow Leopards
Another good win for the All Sparks again despite their injury crises. They ran rings around the Snow Leopards who just couldn’t touch them at all. Although the Leopards managed to get a conciliation touchdown Arcani Spark IV was unstoppable and continues the tradition of great Gutter Runners from his family line.
The Deadly Spawn 4 (0) – 0 (1) Khorne Stars
The Spawn just cannot stop scoring as they claim a cleen sheet and another scalp in the competition. Khorne Stars just didn’t show up in this match at all, in truth they barely got started before the Spawn were already 2-0 up. Going into the final round it’s the Spawns competition for sure but it is also theirs to loose too. A Draw or a win will see them claim their first championship.
Pastafarians 2 (4) – 0 (0) Meadow Glade Mustangs
The Mustangs continue their loosing streak and their position at the bottom of the table, while the Pastafarians claimed their first points in a much needed win after the unlucky matches they previously had. This reporter feels that the Mustangs just don’t cut the fat in the HDWSBBL unfortunately, they showed great promise in the first match but the gone in a downward spiral ever since. They need a win!
Hashut Hairy Hammers 2 (2) – 1 (0) Averheim Eagles
Another frustrating match for the Eagles as their Ogre once again caused the break-up in their plays. Although the Hammers had a shaky start and a few turnovers they soon overpowered the Eagles who almost came back into the match. The Hammers now are the only team who can defeat the undefeated Spawn and ruin their parade.
BH: It’s the final round next week so be sure to watch what could be a very interesting final night of Blood Bowl action!!!
