The Championship V
This Competition is now complete. The winners were Brimstone Flayers.(See more Awards)
The Championship V is the fifth annual competition for the HDWSBBL’s most prestigious trophy, the HDWSBBL Championship Cup. Over the previous four competitions 17 different teams have taken part but only 3 teams have engraved their names on the championship cup itself.
Only the teams who have excelled all season qualify for this Competition. This year only four teams will qualify due to there being only two divisions in the Open Scramble 2510/11 competition.
The competition takes a knock out format with only the winning teams advancing onto the next round.
The Winner of the Championship V will receive a bonus 70,000gp winnings and the runner-up will receive 40,000gp. As per the HDWSBBL Rulebook, any Final and Semi-Final games will see the attendance number doubled.
The opening round of this competition will take place on the 31st March 2511
