The HDWSBBL World Series is not a Championship cup in the strictest sense. The start of the 2511/12 season of the HDWSBBL brought in a lot of changes including a totally different format for the league competitions.
The teams where split into Divisions within Conferences and the standings within these divisions determined where they started within the play-offs and ultimately in the competition for the Championship Cup tournament.
The Word Series competitions are these matches where the teams scramble to rise to the top of the division so they have a chance to be a Conference Champion.
