Match Report

Good evening blood bowl fans from around the Old-World. Our main report tonight is the shocking and most brutal display of Blood Bowl I have watched for a while. Tutbones Re-United took on the Best of Bands at their home ground. The game finished a rather amazing 4-0 to the Best of Bands. A massive away win which puts The Best of Bands on top of the North Division.
In front of 16,000 screaming fans the game kicked off. The Best of Bands, known for their ruthless tactics and thundering attacks, took no time in smashing into the Tutbones. Fouls were committed but to the dismay of the Tutbones team and fans the ref turned a blind eye. Despite the fouling occurring continuously throughout the entire game, no Lizardmen got sent off. The fist touchdown came for the Best of Bands scored by the infamous Meatloaf. Restart and the Tutbones looked mean (and rather deadish) launched a deadly attack but a low pass gave a skink the perfect opportunity to intercept the ball, which lead to the second touchdown scored by Queen.
Again the Tutbones received the ball again but another strong defence saw out first death of the season. A skeleton (name unknown) died by a serious blow to the body (then fell to bits). Despite TRU’s best efforts the player could not be saved even with multiple Resurrection attempts.
The half time whistle went and with the score 2-0 to the Best of Bands, Tutbones had to do a lot to please their fans, get the touchdowns and win those vital 3 points.
The second half was very tense from the start. A lot of rookie mistakes from each team saw play go up and down like the famous Ogre game, Gnome Ball. The Best of Bands looked very amateur at this point as one of their star Saurus player Led Zeppelin tripped over a flower and smashed his knee. Looks like he will miss his next game. But moments after this blunder the Best of Bands in a very daring move, skipped past the Tutbone defence and scored their third. Another touchdown by Meatloaf. It looked all over for Tutbones Re-united as the Fourth touchdown came seconds later in another blunder by the defence. A lovely touchdown by Moterhead his first of the season.
The game ended 4-0 to the best of bands. An amazing score line but a lot of fouling by the Lizardmen left Tutbones feeling rather robbed.
