Blackburners
Originally this team was formally known in Hashut as the Youth Team for the regional Dungeonbowl champions: Hashut Mustapalaa Tarkastaja or Hashut MusTark as it’s sometimes informally known. This team had been training to supercede the current team as age (and gradual petrification due to magic exposure) began to winnow the ranks.
They find themselves in the HDWBBL due to a clerical error where they believed they were signing up for the Hashut Dungeonbowl and Weaponised Blood Bowl League instead of what they got.
Said cleric was promptly fired.
Out of a cannon.
Into a volcano.
But since the entry fee has already been paid, and the league commissioners have made it clear that the league operates on a “no-backsies” policy, the newly translated “Blackburners” are detirmined to make the best of it, bringing their Dunegonbowl skills to the field.
