Grimwood Voodoo
Klaus von Jaeger never wanted to be a necromancer, but fate, it seems, cares little for the will of Blood Bowl coaches. After losing the Championship V final, the coaching staff of the Predators fled to the 4 winds, most ending up back in the Empire, but not assistant coach Klaus von Jaeger. He’d wound up, through a combination of drink and poor navigation, in dread Sylvania. Caught up in a storm he took refuge in a tavern in the town of Grimwood, it was here that the Predators emblem on his coat was recognised by Papa Watoomba, notorious voodoo shaman. Watoomba had long dreamed of setting up a Blood Bowl team and, having watched the success of Atrocity Exhibition and the Innsmouth Shadows in recent years he knew just how to do it. Having bribed Klaus with alcohol and money (mainly alcohol) to take the job he taught him a couple of easy ‘raise the dead’ spells and soon his motley crew of zombies, skeletons and a couple of mummies was assembled and ready to take to the field. Now signed up to the HDWSBBL, the Grimwood Voodoo prepare for their first taste of action. And as for Klaus, well, it seems he’s along for the ride.
