When the draw for the second season of the HDWSBBL took place, nobody in the room expected the HNC to re-enter the league.
Holding the record for the longest series of games played without a win, most people expected the Head Coach to follow through with his threat and feed the team to a pack of Trolls. We can exclusively reveal that as the Trolls where about to bite the head off Star Thrower “Kill Ya†the coach had a change of heart and decided to give the boys one more chance.
Initially entering the North division the HNC certainly had their work cut out for them. They were up against two of their bitter rivals from the first season, the Loren Rangers and Ragnars Swift Velocity. The HNC Head Coach had commented that his team were committed to the season now that they know he was serious about feeding them to the trolls.
They didn’t have too many expectations for this season, their number one wish was to win a game. Who knows, anything is possible in the HDWSBBL.
However all of this was only rumour and reports confirmed that the team were fed to a pack of trolls and disbanded. In a special statement found on the HDWSBBL owners doorstep it reads;
“We ave disided we dont wana play ne more. We ave no talent and dont wanna looose againe. GRAAADDDGG ggggEE……………..”
The letter does go on but most of it was gibberish. We have therefore made the assumption that they will not be returning for the 2507/08 season. This was a shame as the team was the second highest passing team in the 2506/07 season.
