Middenhein Manhunters

The Manhunters entered the HDWSBBL in the very first season. Hailing from the Empire city of Middenheim, the Manhunters have always been big fans of the legendary Middenheim Marauders. Unfortunately for them this fascination turned into an obsession as the Manhunters started to call themselves the Marauders. Once quick law suit and a name change later the Manhunters where born.

Off the pitch, the Manhunters are famous throughout the League for having the worst Press Office. Many a time have reporters been left standing around, or had clueless Janitors thrust out in front of them to deliver the latest post-match speech. When Head Coach Lord Havlock can be obtained, the reporter in question is normally presented with so much abuse that they rarely try again.

On the pitch, well lets say that they “keep trying”. While there are worst teams out there, the Manhunters normally find themselves on the loser side of the scoreline. That isn’t to say that they cannot win. Let us not forget that they have successfully been runner up in 2 major competitions (although one is now disputed).

We at the HDWSBBL feel that the Manhunters should be an inspiration to us all. To quote Lord Havlock:

When Nuffle gives you lemons, its time to find another game
