Causing Havoc in the old world since 2506

Teotigua Flying Frogs

Klaus von Jaeger just couldn’t be sure what to do next. His one-year contract with the Rebels was over, the byker dwarfs had ridden off to raise hell and Klaus had been left to drink and gamble away his earnings. To top it all off, his friend and trusted assistant Billy Bones had ridden off for the bright lights of Altdorf, the lure of Cabalvision work, and the accompanying bags of cash, just too much to refuse! All of which left Klaus broke, drunk and in desperate need of a new job.

It just so happened that a job was out there, looking for Klaus. In deepest Lustria the temple city of Teotigua had been missing it’s Blood Bowl team. In the years since the Predators had folded, the city hadn’t been able to attract the same number of visitors without the lure of first-rate Blood Bowl, so the Slann-Mage priests in charge decided to take action. They dispatched teams of Terradon riders to seek out any of the old Predators coaching staff, but the pickings were slim. Kai Konani had long since retired from coaching to run his TNN channel and the only one of his assistants that could be found was the inebriated, destitute Klaus.

And so it was that Klaus was flown back to Lustria, but there was another snag, Klaus had no team, all of the reasonably talented Lizardman players having long ago left for a city which actually had a team! This was one disaster too many for the poor coach, so he slunk off to the nearest bar to drink away his sorrows, but fate was to smile once more on Klaus von Jaeger. While in Teotigua’s most famous saloon, the ‘Leaping Lizard’ he overheard people talking about a local gladiatorial contest called the ‘Lucha-Lizard Cup’ and he hatched a plan! With bags of ‘borrowed’ gold from the Mage-Priests stores, he headed to the contest and was amazed by what he witnessed! Slann fighters, leaping and diving in combat with incredible skill and speed. So, after the contest he approached one of the groups known as ‘Las Ranas Vuelan’ or ‘The Flying Frogs’ and offered them a kings ransom in gold to be his new team. So Klaus was set, he had one of the most exciting and athletic teams in the league, he just forgot to ask if any of them knew how to play!
