The Gelfs
The Gelf’s are a group of elfin escorts. Shunned by their peers for their un-elf-ish behaviour these vicious women love nothing more than violence and sex. Having made copious amounts of gold selling themselves their pimp, J-Dizzle, thought these girls had the talent and drive to succeed in bloodbowl. He set about trailing the best from his harem of workers to make a team.
After months of training these girls were let loose on various opponents. In 5 “friendly’s” the Gelf’s remained undefeated with 4 wins and a draw. J-Dizzle applied to the league commissioners for entry to the league. The requirement of a stadium, which needed to be built, meant there was only enough gold left in the kitty to take 11 elves into the league. J-Dizzle picked the best from his bunch of whores….and here we are today…..
The rookie manager J-Dizzle is still working on all his tactical prowess but he is a quick learner and has the drive to take The Gelf’s all the way…..if you catch my drift.

HDWSBBL - Did You Know
You Live, Die, and Live Again!
The Drakewald Deadheads love recuriting new players, epecially if they play for the opposing team. In the 2507/08 Pitrat cup the Deadheads played the Strickland Slammers in the 1st round. During the replay the Slammers lineman Thomas Eckhart was killed during a drive. Fans were in tears after his death so the head coach of the Deadheads, always looking for a bargain, ressurected him and he joined the team as a zombie. Eckhart goes down in HDWSBBL history as the first player to be killed and then risen from the dead to join a team.
