Causing Havoc in the old world since 2506

The Loren Rangers

History

It all began in early 2506 when Jordan Hawk, currently jobless after being sacked by the owner at his old club The Terra Hawks, was approached by Jacob Glade and offered to coach the newly formed Loren Rangers. He quickly snagged up the job.

On arrival, his first impression of the team was poor, they had little talent and most of them only cared about the fairness of their skin and the condition of their hair. After countless talks and deals he finally got permission to sack and hire who ever he wanted within 1,00,000 Gold.

He first hired his old friend Jimmy Leeks, to find him new and expectational talent to join the team. He scouted over the division and leagues of the old world and beyond until he came back with over 1,000 suitable candidates. The next month was hard work for Jordan, countless trials and call backs, and the upsetting drops and cuts. The famous List was created containing all 1,000 detailing their position, skill level, talents and other information Jordan used to pick his 11. It was hard but in the end he had his 11 players. It was short but it was all he could afford at the time.

The nearest league to them was the new old world league, the HDWSBBL, which they soon joined with other new teams such as, The Highland Nut Crushers, The Middenhein Manhunters and their league rivals, Ragner’s Swift Velocity. The Rangers dominated the first ever season breaking an entity of records and going through the league season undefeated. The only upset of the season was the 4-3 defeat to rivals RSV in the semi-final of the championship.

The 2507/08 saw a much bigger interest in the game, this resulted in ten teams entering and two divisions formed. The Rangers along with RSV were drawn into the North division while old favorites the Manhunters were drawn into the South. The Rangers went undefeated for seven games until the steak was once again ended by RSV. The Rangers still won the division but were defeated by the Karak Smashers in the League final. The Rangers also made club history by getting to the final of the Championship. They were however defeated by the Strickland Slammers. Beaten but not down the Rangers went back home to prepare for the next season.

The 2508/09 season saw new teams making the game more competitive than ever. Getting drawn into North once again the Ranger did their best to finally win that second championship they wanted so badly. A few hiccups along the seasons and too many injuries (as well as the death of Cable Kingston) Cost them dearly as they didn’t even make it to a final or even a semi-final.

Things became shaky at the camp and the players started to question the abilities of Jordan Hawk. Hawk soon silenced everyone saying that if the Rangers did not win a Championship this season he will throw in the towel and call it a day as head coach. So as the Rangers prepare for another season will they be able to lift that championship cup they want so badly? Or will it be the end of an era?

Players Kit and Colours

The Rangers adore a Green and Light blue kit. They are customized with metal studs to add protection as well as being kitted up with light armor which allows the team to move fast. The kits were created back in 2506, but no plans have been made to change the kits for the future.

HDWSBBL - Did You Know

A Wasted Effort

During the Anklebiter semi final between the Innsmouth Shadows and the Middenheim Manhunters, it is reported that after spectacularily failing no less than 4 easy blitz attempts in a row, the Referee brought the Innsmouth Shadows Werewolf: Ezra Wheedon aside for timewasting - on account of the fact that he was clearly wasting his bloody time in this game.

It was at this point that furious Shadows coach Joseph Curwen caught up to Ezra and beat him into a coma that would last for the next week.
