Valhallen Vixen’s
The Valhallen Vixens hail from the far Bjornlings in Norsica. Up until three years ago the Vixens were a very dominate team in the Bjornling Championship League, however with the election of a new high council it was decreed that females of Bjornling were not allowed to play Blood Bowl.
With this news Brynhilder, who was the captian at the time, took all the players she could muster and travelled the old world looking for a new league who would accept them. On their long journey they were accompanied by a wandering mad man who had developed a grunge against lemons of all things. Despite the fact he was a raving lunatic he gave the team some very good advice and tactics. One of those tactics was to use a so called “Big Guy” which was quite a luxury for the team as they were banished from the Bjornling Championship.
After many months of travelling the Vixens picked up a few mercenaries who were willing to play for the team. A snow troll (how they caught it is even a mystery to this very day) an Ulfwerner who they thought was a standard player and an aging Norse runner with a lust for glory and an honorable death etc…
So with a team ready to do battle and a new stadium full of ale and women (or men in the Vixens case) the Valhallen Vixens are here to make their mark in the HDWSBBL and live forever in fame.

Finger of DEATH!
Sly Sports, the famous sport provider to the Old World since 2506, has covered every single game that has been played in the HDWSBBL. Since it is one of their main leagues that they cover it is only fitting that they created an award. The award namely "The Sly Sports Finger of Death Award" which is award to a player and team who cause the most deaths during a season. The award made its debut in the 2509/10 season.
