We Tree Fellows
The WTF hail from the Dunvegan area of the Western Isles. This is a quiet area with the elvish town situated below the Dunvegan Citidel governed by the ruling clan of High Elves and the surrounding forest is home to several bands of Wood Elves as well as providing a natural barrier to all unwelcome visitors.
The favoured game between the different races of elves in this area is the 7’s version of Bloodbowl and it is in the Dunvegan Premiership that WTF have learnt their trade.
A little over 50 years ago a Black Arc crashed on the rocks just down from the town and as the survivors dragged themselves from the wreckage and made ready for war, they were greeted by the crowd who had gathered to see Dunvegan Earls vs The Elm Tree Passers. The odds of 250 assorted Dark Elves against 20,000 High and Wood Elves quickly persuaded them that joining in the next season of Bloodbowl was a better prospect, than being slaughtered where they stood. So a four race Elf Only 7’s league started and has expanded over recent years with a 12 team Premiership and a 20 team feeder league providing plenty of action. The Dark Elves formed 3 teams and have proved a big success, even sending back home for extra replacements and new players.
Into this fast paced league came the news from outside that a new organisation the HDWSBBL had started where the 11 man game was played instead and that all races were invited. This caused quite a stir and several elves discussed the possibility of fielding a team, so much so that the commissioners decided that they had to intervene before all the star players of the league sorted themselves out and left. After many meetings and public forums it was decided that only one of the races would initially enter the HDWSBBL and that rather than strip the star players two existing teams would be selected at random to form the larger squad required for the 11 man game. Much to the disgust of the Dunvegan Nobles who were sure they would be selected the Elf teams of the Tree Grower Dodgers backed by the carpenters guild and the Fellowship of the Runners backed by the messenger service were selected and told to disband at the end of the season and commence practice for the new game. To amalgamate the teams better the new name We Tree Fellows was decided upon.
Jock MacBigone was selected to coach the new team and they quickly left on the long journey to the HDWSBBL where they hope for glory, or at least a few wins at some point. Rumours from back home are that several of the teams are now practicing for the 11 man game and may replace WTF in future seasons, but as long as the body count is not to high their place seems secure.

Are We Done Yet?
In the opening round of the Pitrat cup 2507/08 the Drakewald Deadheads and the Strickland Slammers had to play a replay after drawing
2-2. This was the first game to be forced into a replay. Officals at the HDWSBBL H.Q decided that there would be no other replays unless the game was abandoned. They then created the "Golden Touchdown" rule which is still used today.
